The problem with "free"
When software is free, the business model is almost always the same: harvest user data, build behavioral profiles, and sell access to your attention or your patterns.
This isn't sustainable for tools that need to know you deeply. If we made Codexify free, we'd be incentivized to extract as much data as possible from you — to monetize your thoughts, your decisions, your entire cognitive footprint.
We refuse to build that kind of business. So we charge money instead.
Our Covenant With You
We Will Never Sell Your Data
Your thoughts, memories, and patterns are yours. We can't sell what we don't have access to. Local-first means your data never reaches our servers unless you explicitly choose to sync (encrypted) or use cloud features.
We Will Never Train Models on Your Data
Your Construct learns from you, for you — not for us. We will never use your data to improve our models, train commercial AI systems, or build profiles for other users.
We Will Never Lock You In
You can export your entire Construct at any time, in open formats. If Resonant Constructs shuts down tomorrow, your data and your tools remain yours. We build for portability, not dependency.
We Will Charge Fairly
Our pricing reflects the cost of building, maintaining, and improving tools that respect you. We aim for sustainability, not extraction. If you can't afford our products, reach out — we offer sliding scale pricing and scholarships.
Software as Partnership, Not Exploitation
We believe that the relationship between you and your tools should be one of partnership — not exploitation, extraction, or manipulation.
When you pay for Codexify, you're not just buying software. You're entering into a covenant: we promise to build tools that serve you, respect you, and never betray your trust.
In return, your payment allows us to stay independent, avoid venture capital incentives, and focus on building tools that actually work for humans instead of engagement metrics.
How We Price
One-Time License + Optional Support
Codexify is available as a one-time purchase. You own the software, and it works forever — even if we disappear.
Support, updates, and cloud sync are available via optional annual subscription. But the core tool is yours, permanently.
Sliding Scale for Accessibility
We recognize that not everyone can afford standard pricing. Students, researchers, activists, and individuals in financial hardship can apply for discounted or scholarship access.
