We don't collect your personal data. Codexify is local-first, which means your data lives on your devices, not our servers.
We don't sell data. We don't train models on your thoughts. We don't build profiles. If we can't see it, we can't misuse it.
What We Collect
Website Analytics (Minimal)
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand basic traffic patterns (page views, referrers). No tracking cookies, no third-party advertising networks, no fingerprinting.
Email Communications
If you contact us or join our early access list, we store your email address to respond and keep you updated. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Payment Information
When you purchase Codexify, payment processing is handled by a third-party provider (Stripe). We never see or store your full credit card details.
Your Codexify Data
Your Constructs, memories, notes, and interactions live on your devices. We have zero access to this data unless you explicitly choose encrypted sync (see below).
Encrypted Sync (Optional)
If you enable sync to back up your Construct across devices, your data is encrypted end-to-end before leaving your machine. We store encrypted blobs — we cannot read your data.
Encryption keys are derived from your master password, which we never see. If you lose your password, we cannot recover your data. This is by design.
What We Don't Do
• We don't sell your data to third parties.
• We don't train AI models on your Construct data.
• We don't build behavioral profiles or track you across the web.
• We don't share your information with advertisers, brokers, or surveillance companies.
• We don't use dark patterns to trick you into sharing more data.
Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. For synced encrypted data, deletion is permanent and immediate.
Email correspondence is retained only as long as necessary for support purposes, typically 1-2 years.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you.
You have the right to export your Construct data in open formats at any time.
You have the right to opt out of any communications or data processing.
