Turn your chat history into a
private second brain.
Codexify runs on your own machine. Import your ChatGPT export and documents, and it builds a local graph you can search and talk to—without your data leaving your device.
What it does
Imports ChatGPT exports and key documents into a local graph on your machine.
Builds a sovereign memory palace: everything is embedded and retrievable locally.
Lets you ask: "What did I say about Project X last year?"
Lets you command: "Summarize all my notes on distributed systems."
Runs local-first; cloud models are optional amplifiers, not a requirement.
Keeps your intellectual history distinct from corporate surveillance.
How it works
Install Codexify
Download the native application. Currently available for macOS (Apple Silicon optimized).
Import Data
Drag and drop your ChatGPT export zip or a folder of markdown files. Codexify ingests and indexes them locally.
Start Asking
Chat with your history. Ask questions, find connections, and explore your own digital memory.
Why Local?
Most AI tools are services that rent you intelligence in exchange for your data. Codexify is software you own.
No Harvesting
We don't train on your data. We don't sell your graph. Your thoughts stay on your hard drive.
Offline Capability
Your memory shouldn't break when the internet goes down. Embed and search without Wi-Fi.
Request Access
We are currently onboarding power users with large ChatGPT exports who want to verify the migration quality.
Common Questions
What exactly is Codexify?
A desktop application that indexes your digital history (chats, notes) into a local graph database so you can search and talk to it.
Where does my data live?
On your computer. Specifically, in a local embedded database. It is not uploaded to our servers.
Is it open source?
Usefully open parts are, but the main app is a commercial product to ensure we don't have to sell user data to survive.
Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can drag and drop a file, you can use Codexify. However, it is currently optimized for people comfortable with early-stage software.
When is General Availability?
We are moving carefully. We prioritize data safety over speed. Join the waitlist for wave updates.
